Nadia Yvonne Lopez Ayuso, was born June 21, 1983 in Oaxaca, Oaxaca. Her
parents Mr. Mario Lopez & Ms. Aurora Ayuso, as well as her big brother have seen her grow Musically since childhood.
She would participate in musical events and as well as the Nationals, representing her natal home, Oaxaca.
With all her talent and faith, Nadia entered TvAzteca's musical reality show casting
call. Without a doubt, in June 30, 2002, she was chosen as one of the 14 members of the 1st º of "La Academia",
which at the time was TvAzteca's first reality show.
In the reality show, Nadia met her new friends which had one thing in common, "becoming a
known star." There she learned and accomplished to be one of the Finalists, 5th place.
With a career in hand by Warner Music, she made her single CD debut, "Nadia" which brought
her to a #1 placement of popularity in the Mexican Billboards, as well as in the U.S..
After months of Academia Tours and CD Promotions, Nadia once again touched TvAzteca ground
by being part of "Desafio de Estrellas" reality show, where the audience, like "La Academia" format, chose who was the "Master"
of the two generations (seasons) "La Academia" had.
In that, Nadia won 2nd place, and beat her own generation's winner.
After her win, Nadia recorded "Contigo Si" with great producers. Her first single off the cd was "Contigo Si",
a duet featuring Yahir, a Mexican Idol.
This new musical production has brought Nadia great wins in Mexico and the U.S., where she also promoted "Contigo Si".
Nadia has become a mexican Idol too, conquering with her unique genre, "gru-pop."
BUT! Nadia doesn't stop there, she is currently working hard on her 3rd cd to conquer
the norteñas and the tex mex scene this summer of 2005. A big surprise awaits all her fans, since there will be a duet
featuring Bobby Pulido. The cd is expected to launch the 26 of July. Her new cd, "Endulzame el Oido"
is one of Warner Music's biggest promotions at the moment. The cd includes a track which Nadia wrote called, "Necesito
Paz." "Endulzame El Oido", name of the cd and of her first single, is currently playing all over Mexico and Los Angeles,
CA. This cd is expected to win over all her cd's.
